Celine Dion fans are in for a special afternoon in Margate next summer as The Power Of… Celine comes to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns on Saturday 17 July 2027.
Performed by vocalist Cara Bo, The Power Of… Celine is a live solo tribute celebrating the extraordinary voice, music and personality of one of the world’s most recognisable recording artists.
From soaring ballads to huge singalong anthems, the show will bring Celine Dion’s much-loved catalogue to The Oval for an afternoon of live music by the sea.

For Cara, performing the music of Celine Dion is much more than simply recreating a collection of famous songs.
A vocalist with a particular passion for powerful ballads and technically demanding material, Cara describes Celine’s extraordinary voice, vocal technique, emotional honesty and distinctive personality as the inspiration behind the show.
The Power Of… Celine has become her flagship tribute production, combining powerful live vocals with the warmth, humour and connection associated with Celine’s performances.
The result is a show designed both for dedicated Celine Dion fans and anyone who simply loves great songs and exceptional vocals.
From My Heart Will Go On to The Power of Love
There are certain songs that immediately transport you back to a particular time, place or person – and Celine Dion has recorded more than her fair share of them.
Audiences at The Oval can expect favourites including My Heart Will Go On, The Power of Love and Think Twice, alongside Celine’s memorable interpretations of songs including I Drove All Night, River Deep, Mountain High and You’re the Voice.
It’s a setlist that allows the afternoon to move between very different moods.

Meet Cara Bo – the voice behind The Power Of… Celine
Cara’s affection for Celine Dion’s music is at the heart of the production.
Rather than simply impersonating Celine, The Power Of… Celine is Cara’s celebration of an artist and catalogue she genuinely admires.
Her own love of vocally challenging repertoire made Celine’s music a natural fit, while the show’s combination of emotional ballads, pop anthems and upbeat classics gives her the opportunity to demonstrate the range and power of the material.
For this special appearance at The Oval, Cara will perform the solo version of The Power Of… Celine, comprising two 45-minute live sets.
An afternoon of live music by the sea

The show takes place in the outdoor amphitheatre at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns in Cliftonville, Margate, giving audiences the chance to enjoy Celine’s music on a summer afternoon just moments from the sea.
Doors open at 1pm, with the show beginning at 2pm.
The Oval Bar will be open throughout the event serving prosecco, wines, beer, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks, while the kiosk will offer hot and cold drinks, snacks and treats. Hot food will also be available on site.
