This summer, The Power Of…Celine comes to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns for a special live tribute to the music and magic of Celine Dion.

Performed by Cara Bo, this powerful solo tribute celebrates one of the world’s most distinctive and celebrated vocal catalogues – from the soaring ballads that defined an era to the huge, uplifting songs that still fill dancefloors today.

Set against the backdrop of a summer afternoon by the sea, expect big vocals, beautiful melodies, nostalgia, humour and plenty of opportunities to sing along.

The Power Of… Celine celebrates not only those songs, but the warmth, humour and personality behind them.

Cara Bo brings her own passion for Celine’s music to the stage in a show built around powerful live vocals and a genuine affection for the artist and her extraordinary repertoire.

Whether you’ve followed Celine for decades, still know every word to the classics, or simply love a great voice and a brilliant song, this is an afternoon to enjoy.

There’s something rather special about hearing these songs outdoors on a summer afternoon.

Join us at The Oval, find your spot in the amphitheatre, pick up a glass of prosecco, wine, beer, cocktail or soft drink from the bar and settle in for an afternoon of live music by the sea.

Come with your partner. Bring your friends. Bring the people you used to sing these songs with.

And when those opening notes of My Heart Will Go On arrive, we suspect the whole amphitheatre might be joining in.

🕐 EVENT TIMES

🚪 Doors open: 1.00pm
🎤 Show starts: 2.00pm
✨ Show finishes: approximately 4.00pm

The performance comprises two 45-minute sets with an interval.

Please arrive in plenty of time to enter the venue, find your spot and grab a drink before the show begins.

Under-18s are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

🎟️ TICKETS

Advance booking is strongly recommended.

Tickets are issued electronically as e-tickets and are non-transferable and non-refundable except where otherwise required by law or expressly stated by the organiser.

This is an outdoor summer event and will normally proceed in the event of rain, so please check the forecast and come prepared for the weather.

If severe weather or other conditions create a safety risk, the organiser reserves the right to postpone, curtail or cancel the event in accordance with the event terms and conditions.

🍹 BAR, FOOD & REFRESHMENTS

Make an afternoon of it. The Oval Bar will be open throughout the event serving beer, prosecco, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.

The Oval Kiosk will also be serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and treats, with hot food available on site.

Cash and card payments accepted.

Please note: no external food or drink may be brought into the amphitheatre. Bag checks will be in place.

🪑 SEATING

Unallocated seating is available.

Seats cannot be reserved, so please arrive early to choose your preferred position.

☀️ AN OUTDOOR SUMMER SHOW

The Oval is an outdoor venue and the show will normally continue if it rains. Please check the forecast and bring suitable clothing.

Umbrellas cannot normally be used during performances as they can obstruct the view of other audience members, so we recommend bringing a waterproof jacket or poncho if rain is forecast.

IMPORTANT VENUE INFORMATION

For everyone’s safety and enjoyment:

• Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• No external alcohol, drinks or food may be brought into the amphitheatre.
• Bag searches will be undertaken on entry.
• Glass is not permitted within the amphitheatre.
• Assistance dogs are welcome; other dogs are not admitted to ticketed performances.
• Smoking and vaping are permitted only within designated areas.
• No naked flames, BBQs, gas stoves or candles are permitted.
• No unauthorised tents, gazebos, parasols or pop-up structures are permitted.
• Please dispose of rubbish responsibly using the bins provided.
• Alcohol purchased from The Oval Bar must remain within the licensed event area.
• The venue operates Challenge 25. Please bring acceptable identification if you wish to purchase alcohol and may appear under 25.
• Please follow instructions given by event staff, stewards and security personnel.
• Circulation routes and accessible areas must remain clear.
• First-aid provision is available during the event. Please speak to a member of the event team if assistance is required.
• Anyone refusing to comply with reasonable venue or safety instructions may be refused admission or required to leave.

📸 PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING

Photography and filming may take place during the event for promotional, archival and media purposes.

Anyone wishing to undertake photography, filming or other recording for commercial purposes must obtain written permission from GRASS Cliftonville CIC in advance.

Requests for commercial filming or photography should be made at least 28 days before the event.
