Section 8 – Ska Rhythms, Soulful Vocals & Timeless Hits

Female-fronted ska band bringing upbeat covers, big energy and a feel-good live set you can dance to.
SECTION 8 RETURN TO THE OVAL – SKA, SOUL & CLASSIC COVERS
Following a great reception at The Oval in 2026, Section 8 are returning for Summer Sundays 2027.
Section 8 bring their own ska-inspired take on familiar songs, combining powerful vocals, soulful arrangements and a raw, energetic sound.
There’s plenty of variety in their music, from heartfelt covers to upbeat numbers, all performed with the band’s distinctive style and character.
- Doors, toilets and concessions open: 1pm – 5pm .
- Concert: 2pm – 4pm.
- A minimum £3 donation per adult on door (under 16’s no donation required).
- All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- A fully licensed bar and food is available (alcohol and food is not to be brought into venue, bag searches are in operation).
- Fully accessible toilet facilities are available.
- All seating areas have step-free access.
- There is no car parking at the venue, please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.
