Gritty Picnic – A Sunday of Britpop, Indie & Rock Classics
GRITTY PICNIC – ROCK, BRITPOP & INDIE AT THE OVAL
Love your Britpop, indie and rock? Gritty Picnic are bringing it all to The Oval Bandstand for Summer Sundays 2027.
From big guitar anthems to the songs everyone knows the words to, Gritty Picnic deliver a great mix of rock, Britpop and indie favourites.
This energetic three-piece, featuring Ashley on guitar and vocals, Roger on bass and vocals, and Steve (Zippy) on drums, have built a following playing pubs, clubs and events across Kent.
Expect plenty of familiar tunes, a proper live band and an afternoon of music that’s made for enjoying with friends.
- Doors, toilets and concessions open: 1pm – 5pm .
- Concert: 2pm – 4pm.
- A minimum £3 donation per adult on door (under 16’s no donation required).
- All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- A fully licensed bar and food is available ( No alcohol and NO food is to be brought into venue, bag searches are in operation).
- Fully accessible toilet facilities are available.
- All seating areas have step-free access.
- There is no car parking at the venue, please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.
