THE HYSTERICS – INDIE ROCK & ALTERNATIVE ANTHEMS AT THE OVAL

If Kings of Leon, The Killers, Queens of the Stone Age and The Black Keys are your kind of music, The Hysterics should be on your summer calendar.

We’re welcoming The Hysterics to The Oval Bandstand for Summer Sundays 2027, bringing a very different sound to our summer programme.

This four-piece band specialise in guitar-driven indie, alternative rock and pop-punk favourites, taking well-known tracks and giving them a heavier, desert-rock edge.

Think crunchy guitars, gritty vocals and the kind of big choruses you’d expect to hear at a festival.

Influenced by the sounds of Kings of Leon and Queens of the Stone Age, The Hysterics put their own stamp on indie and rock favourites, with plenty of energy and attitude.

Bandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment!

• Doors, toilets and concessions open: 1pm – 5pm .
• Concert: 2pm – 4pm.
• A minimum £3 donation per adult on door (under 16’s no donation required).
• All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
• A fully licensed bar and food is available ( NO alcohol and NO food is not to be brought into venue, bag searches are in operation).
• Fully accessible toilet facilities are available.
• All seating areas have step-free access.
• There is no car parking at the venue, please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
• Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.
