We’re delighted to share the official highlights video from this year’s The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever at The Oval in Cliftonville.
Hundreds of dancers in flowing red dresses, incredible live music, laughter, friendship and an atmosphere unlike anything else – all coming together to raise over £3,000 for Oasis Domestic Abuse Service and MAMA to MAMA. Thanks to your amazing support, we have now raised an incredible £8,013 for charity over the past three years!
This event simply wouldn’t be possible without an extraordinary team of people working behind the scenes.
A huge thank you to the magnificent The Kate Bush Experience for an unforgettable live performance of Kate’s greatest hits, culminating in our spectacular grand finale as hundreds of dancers performed Wuthering Heights together while Maria sang live. It was an absolutely magical moment. Thank you also to our wonderful host Brigitte Aphrodite, DJ TBX for keeping the incredible tunes coming all afternoon, Debs from Midlife Movers for leading you all in the dancing, our brilliant sound engineer db Rising, Helios Security for keeping everyone safe, and our talented videographer Tom Carr for capturing the magic so beautifully.
Thank you to Shambush! for creating The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever and inspiring communities around the world to celebrate Kate Bush while raising thousands of pounds for good causes.
Most importantly, thank you to the amazing staff and volunteers at The Oval, whose months of planning and hard work made the whole event possible. A special mention must go to Stephen and Simon, whose dedication behind the scenes is simply extraordinary.
Finally, thank you to every single person who travelled from across the UK and beyond (including France, Belgium and Germany!) to dance with us. Your enthusiasm, kindness and generosity are what make this event so special.
