Summer Sundays: M.T. Pockets Live at The Oval Bandstand
M.T. Pockets are a high-energy live band bringing serious soul, tight funk and classic rock & roll to The Oval. Expect James Brown grooves, Bruno Mars-style floor-fillers and big, bold vocals that demand you move.
Known for electrifying performances and a packed dancefloor, they’re a must-see for anyone who loves proper live soul with rhythm and punch.
Our popular summer season of concerts is back, and this year we are bringing even more performances across a wider variety of genres to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns.
The Oval’s Summer Sundays concerts take place throughout the summer season (subject to weather conditions).
Bandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment!
- Doors, toilets and concessions open: 1pm – 5pm .
- Concert: 2pm – 4pm.
- A minimum £2 donation per adult on door (under 16’s no donation required).
- All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- A fully licensed bar and food is available (alcohol and food is not to be brought into venue, bag searches are in operation).
- Fully accessible toilet facilities are available.
- All seating areas have step-free access.
- There is no car parking at the venue, please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.
