DESCRIPTION:The Margate Country Music Festival returns to The Oval\, a day filled with live music\, dancing\, competitions\, games and DJ’s.\n\n\nThe Margate Country Music Festival charges into The Oval on Saturday\, July 11th\, from 12pm to 6pm. \nNow in its third year and going from strength to strength\, this much-loved festival promises another unforgettable day of country fun by the sea. \nArtist line-up to be confirmed – exciting acts and musicians will be announced soon! Throughout the day\, DJ TBX will be spinning all the biggest country hits to keep the party atmosphere alive between live performances. \nAlongside electrifying musical entertainment\, the festival will feature Conor from Line ’em Up\, leading interactive line-dance routines and teaching you all the best moves\, plus fun competitions and top-notch country tunes. \nDon’t miss out on this high-energy celebration of country music\, dancing\, and community spirit at The Oval in Margate. \n  \nPROGRAMME \nArtist line-up to be confirmed – exciting acts and musicians will be announced soon! \nFOOD & DRINK \nThe Oval Bar will be serving a wide selection of drinks including beer\, prosecco\, wines\, spirits\, cocktails\, and soft drinks. Hot drinks\, cold drinks\, and treats will be available at The Oval Cafe. Hot food options will be available. We accept cash and card payments. \nPlease note that alcohol and food is not to be brought into venue\, bag searches are in operation. \nSEATING \nWe are unable to reserve seating\, please arrive early to ensure you can sit in your preferred area. \nTICKETS \nTickets are issued electronically as e-tickets and are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable. If it rains the event will go ahead and remember you will not receive a refund. Do not offer tickets for sale or for free on social media platforms\, if this happens your tickets will be cancelled. If you can’t attend please cancel your e-tickets on Eventbrite as this will allow people that have signed up to the waitlist to attend the event. \nIf you have not received your e-tickets 72 hours before the event\, it is your responsibility to contact the venue. It is your responsibility to inform us of any change of details including address and email address. \n  \nFOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT WE ASK YOU TO PLEASE FOLLOW THE EVENT RULES:\n\nStrictly NO alcohol and NO food to be brought in to the amphitheatre\, bag searches will be in operation. A fully licensed bar is available on-site\, together with food concessions.\nPatron’s may bring water in an unopened bottle. If you have a reusable water bottle\, it must be empty upon entry\, and we will refill it for free at either our bar or kiosk (please note that the tap water in the pavilion toilets is drinking water). We also offer free water in plastic cups to anyone who requests it.\nIf you wish to bring a picnic to eat on the lawns\, you may leave it with security upon entry\, and they will return it to you when you leave. Please note that the venue assumes no responsibility and cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to items left with security.\nThe possession\, use\, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited within the venue. Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the event and may be reported to the police. The event organisers reserve the right to search individuals and their belongings upon entry and during the event.\nPrescription drugs are permitted in the venue. We recommend bringing only the amount necessary for the duration of your visit\, in a sealed package with the printed prescription label showing the patron’s name\, along with corresponding photographic ID.\nWell behaved dogs are welcome\, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.\nPlease note that all under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult\nChildren under 5 are free\nTickets are non-transferable and non-refundable\, the person named on the e-ticket must be in attendance and you may be asked for ID.\nIn the unlikely event of severe weather that poses a safety risk the event may be cancelled\, all tickets are non-refundable\, please check the forecast and come prepared in case it rains.\nPlease note that it can turn chilly in the evenings\, so please make sure you bring suitable clothing.\nIf you wish to smoke\, including e-cigarettes\, you must do so in the designated areas. Please be courteous towards other audience members.\nPlease place all rubbish into the bins provided or take it home with you.\nAny alcoholic drinks purchased at the bar must be consumed within the amphitheatre.\nNo umbrellas are permitted during the event (except at management discretion).\nThe venue operates a Challenge 25 Policy. If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you purchase alcohol. Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18.\nPlease note the venue operator\, GRASS Cliftonville CIC\, cannot be held liable or responsible for any damage to vehicles or personal property whilst attending any of our events.\nNo naked flames\, BBQ’s\, gas stoves or candles allowed in the amphitheatre.\nNo unauthorised tents\, gazebos\, parasols or pop-up structures allowed in the amphitheatre.\nGlass is not permitted within the amphitheatre – please ensure all drinks are in plastic/cans and consumed from plastic/paper drinkware.\nPlease follow our Stewards’ instructions\, and remember to sit in the designated seating areas only.\nPlease do not block circulation routes to ensure other audience members\, particularly those who are less able bodied\, can move freely around the venue.\n\nFirst aid staff are present at all GRASS Cliftonville CIC events. If you become unwell at one of our events please contact your nearest Steward. \nPlease note failure to comply with any venue rules could result in refused entry or immediate removal from the event.. \nAs a condition of attending and purchasing tickets for the event\, participants agree the following waivers: \n\nI acknowledge and agree that I participate in the GRASS Cliftonville CIC’s events at my own risk. I release and indemnify GRASS Cliftonville CIC\, organisations or corporations associated directly or indirectly with the conduct of the event\, from and against all claims\, liabilities\, injury\, loss or damage I may suffer or incur arising from or connected with my participation in this event.\nI grant full permission for the organisers and media to use photographs\, film or video footage of me participating in GRASS Cliftonville CIC event and surrounding activities\, promotion of this or similar events in the future or in relation to relevant fundraising activities.
