SUMMARY:Classics at The Oval - Car Show - August 2026
DESCRIPTION:Classic cars\, vintage motorcycles and motoring heritage\, set across the lawns of The Oval Bandstand and Lawns\n\n\nRamsgate Old Motor and Motorcycle Club\, in partnership with The Oval Bandstand & Lawns\, are delighted to be bringing the much-loved Classics at The Oval Car Show back to Margate. \nThis popular community event celebrates classic cars\, vintage motorcycles and motoring heritage\, set across the lawns of The Oval in a stunning seafront location. \nThis is a friendly reminder that you do not need a ticket to attend the Car Show. The vehicle displays are located on the lawns and are free for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. \nIf you would also like to attend the live music performances taking place inside the Bandstand from 1:00pm\, admission is £2 per adult. This is the same entry fee as our regular Summer Sunday concert programme. \nAs stated on the Eventbrite listing\, the free Eventbrite ticket is for information purposes only and does not entitle the holder to free admission to the live music event within the Bandstand arena. \nTickets for the live music can be purchased on the gate on the day. \n  \nEvent dates: \nSunday 9 August 2026 \n  \nIf you’re interested in exhibiting a vehicle\, please download an entry form from rommcc.org or contact the club directly at rommcc81@gmail.com \n  \nThis has been a hugely popular event in the past\, so let’s bring it back to the lawns in style and make it one to remember. \n  \nTickets are NOT required for the car show on the lawns. \n\n\n\n

Expect soaring brass\, slick guitars\, and a powerhouse vocal performance that captures all the swagger\, soul\, and sparkle of The King himself. \nWhether you’re an Elvis aficionado or simply love the magic of live music\, this is a show guaranteed to get you all shook up. \nJoin us as our summer season continues to bring unforgettable performances to The Oval Bandstand & Lawns\, showcasing everything from Latin rhythms to rock ’n’ roll royalty – and everything in between. \nThe Oval’s Summer Sundays concerts take place throughout the summer season (subject to weather conditions). \nBandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment! \n  \n\nDoors\, toilets and concessions open: 1pm – 5pm .\nConcert: 2pm – 4pm.\nA minimum £2 donation per adult on door (under 16’s no donation required).\nAll persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.\nA fully licensed bar and food is available (alcohol and food is not to be brought into venue\, bag searches are in operation).\nFully accessible toilet facilities are available.\nAll seating areas have step-free access.\nThere is no car parking at the venue\, please use public transport\, bicycles\, or arrive on foot.
