Expect timeless favourites made famous by icons including Frank Sinatra\, Sammy Davis Jr.\, Dean Martin\, Nat King Cole\, Tony Bennett and many more. \nFronted by the charismatic Benjamin Lock\, an accomplished jazz vocalist who has performed at leading venues across the UK\, The Dukes of Swing combine exceptional musicianship with effortless style\, creating an uplifting afternoon of world-class live entertainment. Having performed at some of the UK’s most prestigious venuesincluding The Savoy\, Claridge’s\, Blenheim Palace\, Leeds Castle\, the Houses of Parliament\, Fulham Palace\, Park Lane Hotel\, Lambeth Palace\, Hever Castle\, Hampton Court Palace\, The Ivy and Hotel Café Royal they now bring their acclaimed live show to The Oval Bandstand for what promises to be an unforgettable afternoon. \nWhether you’re a lifelong swing enthusiast or simply looking for the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon by the sea\, this is a concert guaranteed to have you tapping your feet\, singing along and dancing from your seat. \nSummer Sundays returns for another fantastic season\, bringing an even bigger programme of live music to The Oval Bandstand. From soul and rock to country\, jazz and family favourites\, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in one of Margate’s most unique outdoor venues. \nJoin us for an afternoon of exceptional live music\, a fully licensed bar\, delicious food\, and the warm community atmosphere that has made Summer Sundays one of Margate’s favourite live music events. \nThe Oval’s Summer Sundays concerts take place throughout the summer season (subject to weather conditions). \nBandstand concerts are back for a glorious summer of entertainment! \n\nDoors\, toilets and concessions open: 1pm – 5pm .\nConcert: 2pm – 4pm.\nA minimum £2 donation per adult on door (under 16’s no donation required).\nA fully licensed bar and food is available (NO alcohol and NO food is not to be brought into venue\, bag searches are in operation).\nFully accessible toilet facilities are available.\nAll upper seating areas have step-free access.\nThere is no car parking at the venue\, please use public transport\, bicycles\, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.\nWell behaved dogs are welcome\, but they MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the bandstand auditorium.\nAll children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
