DESCRIPTION:Sand Art Outdoors at The Oval – Calm Creative Play by the Sea\nSand art is a gentle creative activity where children sprinkle and layer colourful sand to make a picture or bottle. \nJoin us at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns in Margate for a relaxed outdoor Sand Art session designed especially for children who enjoy calm\, focused creativity. \nCalm hands. Careful pouring. Bright colours.\nNo rushing. No mess. No pressure. \nSand art is a gentle\, hands-on activity where children sprinkle and layer colourful sand to create a picture or bottle to take home as a keepsake. It’s simple\, absorbing and wonderfully satisfying. \n✔️ Mess-contained (sand stays in trays)\n✔️ No glue or glitter\n✔️ SEN-aware and inclusive\n✔️ Children work at their own pace \nThis session is especially lovely for children who enjoy:\n• choosing their own colours\n• predictable\, step-by-step activities\n• quiet\, focused play \nIf your child prefers calm creativity over loud or high-energy activities\, this is for them. \nThis is a FREE but ticketed event\, with limited places available\, when the tickets are gone the event is sold out! \nBooking in advance is essential to secure your child’s space. \nfor ages 3 -10 \nIf you’re able to\, we’ll be collecting optional donations on the day (pay what you can). Contributions help us programme more children’s activities and family events at The Oval. \nFood\, tea\, coffee and refreshments will be available from The Oval café and concessions. \nCome along\, get creative by the sea\, and take home something colourful and made with care. \nDoors\, toilets and concessions open: from 12\nSession time: 1pm – 2pm \nAll persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.\nA fully licensed bar and food are available (no alcohol or food to be brought into the venue; bag searches may be in operation).\nFully accessible toilet facilities are available.\nAll seating areas have step-free access.\nThere is no car parking at the venue; please use public transport\, bicycles\, or arrive on foot.
